April Fool’s Prep: Year Two

Last year was our first foray into April Fool’s Day pranks around here. The girls want to fool each other again this year because they had so much fun last year. So, I figured I’d get in on the act too. I was definitely in search of harmless April Fool’s day pranks. Ever the last minute planner, I was at the store today picking up some things that we’ll need.

My oldest wants to give her sister a new ‘pair’ of shoes. She came to me this morning and asked if I could get her a pear to put in a shoe box to give to her sister. The little one wanted to do the same juice prank as we did last year but with brown jello for iced tea (which her sister doesn’t drink). Kindergartners don’t quiet get pranks I don’t think. I told her to think a little more about it at school today and if she doesn’t come up with anything else, we’ll rubber band the inside of the sleeves of her sister’s coat for some harmless fun.

Both of these are all over pinterest and that’s where I grabbed these images from. I’m opting for pound cake toast instead of apple fries since we rarely have french fries with our fried eggs. We always have toast to dip! I even made a banner to put in the pantry! I’d love to show you a picture of it but it won’t get put up till they go to bed tonight so you’ll just have to wait. If you’d like to download one for yourself, you can do that here and post a picture of yours for me!
